Ardley Quarry, Bicester, Oxfordshire - Added to Everything Else in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Park just off Middleton Lane, the exact same place to park for Trow Water Tower that is also on the map.

Follow the path to the water tower, you may as grab it while you are there, and then keep walking towards Trow pool.

Before you cross the little 'bridge' look to the left to see a kissing gate, go through this to enter the farmers field. Stick to the path and eventually you'll come to an opening that lets you cross the brook and enter another field.

TOAL from here. It's difficult to keep VLOS to explore the whole of the quarry without walking around, so take extra care.

Also be aware of Weston on the Green RAF base nearby which is an FRZ from sunrise to sunset on weekdays only.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 27/07/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Definitely be vigilant for the FRZ as I know RAF Brize Norton parachute school do their training drops at Weston!

Dropping relief aid to the poor people in the large houses of Oxfordshire!
