Great news for those wanting to try ArduPilot for Plane or Copter. Devs have taken the INAV configurator GUI and put the back-code in for ArduPilot.
So instead of learning the complexities of Mission Planner (which I agree can be daunting for newcomers) we will soon be able to use the familiarity of BF / INAV style of configurator

Not released yet, still in development but something interesting to watch.

Not quite based on the INAV configurator but this may be of interest for those wanting to get into Ardupilot but are put off by the complexities of Mission Planner, maybe this is for you….
