Ashlett Creek - Added to Coastal Scenery in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

A small strip of land behind Ashlett Creek Sailing Club which to my knowledge and studying maps is just outside the New Forest National Park boundary.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24/06/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

I flew my Mavic Air 2 (over 250g) there in March 2023, I had no problem with people who were walking by, many had shown interest especially when they saw the live footage on my Ipad. I was wearing my Drone Pilot Hi-Viz, which I guess made things look professional, and helped my confidence.

Check the tide times and fly when it’s high. It’s not very picturesque at low tide. :+1:
