Exactly my issue.
Yes it does, but you still need to keep a safe distance from people… and those dog walkers… argH!

Ah, yes… I wish. I live in a suburban area of a middle sized town. The farms are only about 5 minutes drive from my house but I’d definitely never just meet a farmer. I’d have to go to the farm and say “hi”. That is looking like the best approach.
Ban em. Blinking dog poop everywhere
I get to watch them as I wait for them to leave. They’re all very careful to pick it up and bag it these days…
Another reason I’d never have a dog.
Oh… one time I had to run over quick to my crashed drone to chase a dog that was about to slobber all over it…
I approached 3 neighbouring farmers
I also fly on a very large private estate. This came about from a chat with a local farmer. They all know each other (mostly related in one way or another)
.
Better to ask, most have guns
Just go and knock on a few likely doors! Anyone around will point you towards the farmer, nothing to lose! I don’t see a problem.
No problem… I’d just like to identify the approach with the most likelihood of success.
Yes Article 16 does, but you need to complete a risk assessment and have an observer. You still need the landowner’s permission to TOAL and if the recreation area is owned by the local council, say, they maybe not permit it.
