After many failures we finally got my AtomRC Dolphin up in the air for the first time at the Grey Arrows Big Meet 2023.
It’s running the Walksnail V2 FPV Video system so I’ve put both the goggle view and stabilised on-board recording next to each other for comparison.
The take-off was quite exciting with a 360 roll before it stabilised to normal flight.
The landing looks good in the video but the control surfaces were ripped off. A hasty repair was not good enough and the next flight resulted in a smashed up plane yet again.
It’s now all been rebuilt (hopefully properly this time) ready for it’s next exciting attempt at flight.
