Autel Evo II 2 leak - Now not a leak!

Really like the sound of the Evo 2 Pro…

It’s shipping with the 8K 1/2” camera, anyone seen the detailed specs of the 6K 1” camera ?

I can’t remember the exact wording in the regs but it’s something like “permanent, indelible”.

Not managed to see any detailed specs on the 6K version but pricing for the 8k version is $1495 and they expect the 6K to be around $1750 .

The Evo v1 has CE/FCC limitations:

Transmission Power (EIRP) FCC: <=26 dBm CE: <=20 dBm

I’m assuming the Evo 2 will too :pensive:

This is all I’ve seen so far:

Quite surprised the 8k version is only a 1/2" sensor.

8k seems like a gimmick quadrupling the amount of pixels with only a 20% increase in bit rate.

Also unconvinced with the quoted max resolution of 48mp. Is that similar to the 48mp stills the M2Z does except digitally?

Few guys have noticed in the Evo 1 manual it mentions NFZs only in regions required by law. It’s already in the firmware as gives a warning when in restricted zones but still allows you to fly.
Seems it’s just waiting on someone to throw the switch on it and you could end up with nfz database worse than djis early attempts ever were.

Thanks for that :+1:

I cant to see what the new 1" is capable of on the Pro version.

8K is flippin huge resolutions to be processing. Should give some fantastic zoom options when sticking a vid together.

Definitely going to wait for the Evo 2 with the 1 inch sensor,Definitely don,t want the 8 k 1/2 got that on the Evo 1 already… sensor that is ,not 8k…

Hi Chris, was going to say that Evo 2 with 1 inch sensor was slated for release at the end of February   But thanks to Pings post above, now i know it will be delayed!!! BTW still not sure if Autel are releasing this worldwide,or weather i will be getting one shipped in from the USA!!

I will be really FO if it is not made available over here @FIREFOX !.
Luckily my Daughter is back on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, going out of New York in March.
Daddy may be asking a favour, she can have parcels directed to their office ashore, ready to be collected when she returns the next week!.
Then Daddy will collect it when he comes for his annual two weeks cruise to safely bring it home.

It does look an impressive piece of kit and a well timed announcement too. Although we shall see how long the delay is.

So what are we looking at here with the Evo II 6K model. Longer flight times (30+ mins), bigger resolution channelled through a 1" sensor. ?!

I wonder if they nail it with the Evo II they might look to distribute further afield?! :crossed_fingers:

IF they do,or if they don,t,i will still get my hands on an Evo 2,not if,but when…
Besides,my poor Evo 1 gets lonely,so it needs a mate !!!

For a start,we will get 4k @60fps!!! and a higher bitrate… um whats not to like @chrisjohnbaker     :+1: :+1:

I defo want one of these babies.

I’d take that with a pinch of salt. Sounds very much like the photographic version of Snake Oil and probably uses a standard 4K sensor and pixel binning.

Nidge.
