Forgot to post this… so from below, I have checked and it is CE and ROHS marked inside the battery compartment on the large sticker with all the battery, power use, Serial number etc…

Hi, I’ve got the EVO 1 and pretty certain have seen a CE mark somewhere, will check when back home, as for power limitations, as they don’t formally sell outside the USA and Canada and mine at least came with a USA mains plug I guess there can’t really be a CE compliance but as I said I have seen a sticker somewhere… so if they ever do supply the UK formally, and speaking to Autel they have told me that until they have sorted out a good network of dealers as good as the USA they won’t supply the UK, they are working on it. Perhaps then as per OFCOM regs the power at that frequency, would be set to the same maximum as a WIFI device is allowed. However the power seems more than adequate for distance and line of sight regs in the UK whilst maintaining good real time video transmission.
Will check CE marking and check with Autel as have a contact there.

Cheers

Im looking forward to seeing the yanks testing this rascal out. Could be a game changer. If it is, when borders open, I will consider picking one up when in the USA and bringing it back. Unless there is a tech issue I’m not bothered about a CE sticker - I just want it to fly.

I am hoping to get my hands on one, like several other members on here.
Just hope we all get to the end of this dark tunnel to be able to get our hands on them, and fly it !.
Stay safe everyone, would hate to lose my many GADC friends on here.

Also the first batch will have some problems, they always do, this sort of thing is my job and I see it all of the time, wait for pro with a real camera and mostly by then the bugs may be sorted… but I know it’s difficult to not get that card out and try and get one, hold back, you will then not regret it… ha-ha. Cheerts

Autel have been busy posting all manner of Evo 2 videos on their YouTube channel today.

I won’t post them all, but you get the idea.

I’ve never followed an Autel release before, but I’m guessing this means they’re imminent?

Couple of people on an overseas forum have received their 8K models today too.

Let’s hope the release is imminent,
don’t think I have ever been looking forward to the release of a drone, as much as I have this one !.
It’s gonna blow anything DJI have (,or, will have,) out of the water, for along time.
Piggy Bank is full !, just let me get my hands on it now !.

Are they finally going to sell in Europe Guys?

Dont think so, they only have a small office in the states and selling in EU would mean getting it certified
