Avata FCC channel bug

Don’t know whether it’s happened to other people on here with a Dji drone because apparently it can.

Was out with the mate with his potato and Avata, he was having drop outs in connection. He’s been on the scene since year dot an suggested me going from auto to manual channel wise. I went into transmission and changed from auto to manual… I couldn’t pick a channel. And then my RC went missing, both :scream:

Anyway went out of the menu and tried take off… No connection to controller. Either to cont 2 or mot 2. There was loads of different configurations tried…no go.

In the end I had to reset to factory from the goggles, DJI fly app wouldn’t recognize anything when plugged in, same as assistant.

One thing that may be different from anybody else’s set up, there was no ham file on the goggles card, there was originally . As this is a ‘permanent’ hack with or without it physically being on the card…is it? Does it need it in cases like this?

Would it of made a difference to the situation if it was on the on?

There’s quite a few peeps out there who’ve had the same problem…with other drones from what I’ve read so far, whether their actual situation is the same as mine, well🤷‍♂️

Good afternoon getting sunburnt to f£#k otherwise…bring on that barby

Stab in the dark here, maybe writing the ham file onto both cards might work.

It could be that the ham file is needed on both goggles and drone for factory reset too…

Mads Tech will know…
