I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Lovely little hidden Castle on the edge of Dufftown in Speyside. Currently closed to visitors, which means no-one to stop you from flying your drone, but watch out for the trees and the Rookery living in there…

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/04/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Whoohoo, and thanks… I was going to wait until the video’s posted one day at a tmie, but got impatient, so posted an extra 2 today… Still have another 5 queued up to post, and another 3 or 4 to edit from the footage taken yet…

Sorry Darren, you snooze, you lose… If it makes you feel any better, we are off to Orkney in June, and I have been watching other folks pin the things I was hoping to grab, so what goes around comes around… But I am sure I shall find one or two things up there to capture and pin…
