Just got home from a 7-hour day out with the Pocket 2 and M2P. Today was much better. I managed to stay on 2 feet the whole time. Which was a blessing after the grief I got from Mrs L last night. Thankfully she washed and dryed all my gear ready to be worn today.
I was clean until I returned to the last site’s car park
A lady in a Peugeot 207 decided to perform a 3 point turn on the grass. She also had her 90 year old dad in the passenger seat who couldn’t walk. Naturally I helped them out by pushing backwards on the front bonnet (sliding all over the place). She then decided to floor it in reverse, at which point, she sprayed half the field all over me. I was covered - worse than yesterday - head to toe. Wife is not happy one bit.
Glad you liked it! I’m actually using the DJI wireless mic. And fair do’s, it’s amazing. I have owned to Rode wireless mic too, and I have to say that the DJI offering is better
Thanks Clive! Yes, all the kit is fine thankfully. I am aching a bit (in the lower back ) … but all good. I was tempted to the cut the fall from the footage, but decided (a) it provides something to laugh at, and (b) it is a reminder to us all to take care when droning
Cheers Barrie! Sorry to hear you have had a tumble too. Mine could have been worse, I am very thankful it wasn’t. I broke my coccyx in the Alps about 20 years ago, so I know how easy it can be to hurt yourself badly. Fingers crossed, it won’t take too much longer until you’re back out flying again
I hate to see anyone falling on their back. We all think it’s only a fall but I know from my own experience how jolting they can be.
