Basic comparison - original vs edited

I can’t believe how hard it seems to be to find an editor that will behave in a way I want. But I have followed advice and played with some. I played with Picsart just now - not convinced but wanted to post both the before and after so seem them back to back on here.

This was a manual fix so no pre-loaded effects used. It seems, ok. I will keep hunting. I just want crop / effects / manual adjustments really. The first is the original and the second after some manual adjustments.

No idea how they will compare until I post!

Oh, ok thats better than I thought.

You can upload your hi-res photos directly here and avoid people only seeing the low-res preview which is served up by the image bb hosting site.

Thanks - will edit original post!

I’m also not sure why you needed to post links to the images on here before being able to see how they looked.

What’s that all about?

Quick comparison, back to back, rather than opening and closing on PC. Plus - as always I am after advice! Hence posting. Seems that the slight amendments have lifted it as I wanted it to.

lol I wonder whether I am on the wrong forum. I post to share, contribute and reach out to others. I could have done all that in silence but then I am not contributing…

Post the raw file for us?

Are you not able to open more than one image at once on the PC to view side by side? Either in the editor itself or running two instances of the editor? I think this is what seems strange and prompted the query about needing to post on here to compare. We’re always happy to see people’s stuff.

That’s the bit I couldn’t quite understand either

Yes guess could have but just wanted to share too! I don’t have the raw file for that pic, however I will take some raw today and edit that, then post all 3 if you like.

Ok.I have now found something I do really like. It has even managed to get rid of a green sun spot from glare. I think I have to pay to keep using it but, seems worth it to me.

Luminar lets you do this as you go

Failing that if you’re happy with your current editor try butterfly viewer

For what device?

For desktop. So the one I used was Pixlr but will try the suggestions above too

PC or Mac ?
