I am on the search for a small spot welder for joining some 18650 batteries. My mate (in IT) has a massive box of reclaimed batteries from laptops that he was collecting, but no longer wants. So I am planning on building a field charger. Some of you tinkerers must have one or two you’d recommend, I can find loads in the usual places but it’s finding one that actually works and wont blow up or fail after a couple of days,
I use this one, it gets the job done

Wow @Steviegeek I always wanted a product that could adjust my knob, and this comes with gear for it!!
Well after much reading on the internet I ended up going for this
Now I just need to learn about all the different configurations for the batteries and decide on a suitable BMS. Thanks for your input
