Here is my latest video, shot a few weeks ago and only recently edited.
It is an area fairly close to me and driving back through here the lighting and conditions seemed particularly favourable, so grabbed the drone as soon as I got in and headed back.
It is also my first encounter with a wally threatening to call the police on my illegal activity, had to happen sooner or later I guess.
With this one I have tried to put a bit more effort into the edit, my aim with each video I make if for it to be better than the last in some way, I want to keep improving. Normally my videos are edited and uploaded to youtube in one sitting, on this occasion I completed the edit over the course of a week. Any time I thought it was done I left it for a couple of days and came back to it with fresh eyes and kept finding minor things that I wasn’t happy with so made some tweaks, I am trying to get away from a quick “that’ll do” attitude.
The “new” aspect for me in this video was to incorporate some sound effects aside from the backing music, which I hope bring an extra dimension without being too obvious and out of place.
As always, constructive criticism that I can take away and apply to the next one would be greatly appreciated.

Great video. Did you get any negative comments while filming it?
Thank you. Only one, a guy from one of the nearby antique centres came out to challenge me.
First told me to get off his property. I wasn’t on his property, I was on a pavement.
The told me my drone was on his property. It wasn’t, it was flying over it.
Then told me that wasn’t allowed and do I have a licence. Told him that there is no license required.
Told him I would happily talk to him about it more if he would wait and let me land first. He then said he was going to call the police. I told him if he genuinely believed that any law was being broken then he absolutely should do that. And then he just walked off.
Very enjoyable video! Cant fault it!
Lovely video, great edit and the music really complimented it

My edits take 5 days or more. Each time I come back to it, I spot stuff that lets the rest down. I used to edit in one sitting - but realised after posting … that certain bits were rushed.
Well done, really enjoyed it.

Thanks Chris!
The main irritant on this one was one small shot I had tracking in front of a bup that you may have noticed in the background. The shot itself was fine, but all the external lights use led bubs which looked like their are flashing in the final video and really detracted from the sense of calm I was going for.
