Belgian Promenade, Porthaethwy (Menai Bridge)

During the First World War, refugees from German-occupied Mechelen (or Malines) in Belgium were accommodated in Menai Bridge. In gratitude for the town’s hospitality, they built this promenade along the Menai Strait from Ynys Tysilio (Church Island) to Carreg yr Halen, completing it in 1916.

On my to do list great vid thanks for sharing .what time did you fly

Thank you, just checked the Exif it was 12:50 on Sunday. The take off was into sun which is quite a strong winter sun. It was quite windy as well. The cover shot was a still with the Air2s. The TOAL was slightly to the left of the house you can see on the left on the rocks. This is the Belgian Promenade.

Awesome! I sometimes get irritated with FPV vids being too fast for me to enjoy the scenery, miserable old codger that I am, but that was excellent.

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
