I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Explore Beningbrough Hall in North Yorkshire, a striking early-18th-century country house with a surprisingly rich history behind its elegant red-brick exterior.
Take a look around the hall, its rather sparsely furnished interiors, the impressive staircase and the gardens, while tracing the story of the families who shaped Beningbrough over the centuries.
I TOAL just inside the National Trust property not far from the entrance to keep a half decent line of sight. There are public routes through the property (albeit red routes) though so VLOS can be maintained if you're willing to do some walking.
It is also in Leeming's NOTAM Navigation Warning, so check for details before you go. All was good when I was there!
If you are an NT member food, drink is available. Parking was free, member or not when I was there though.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 09/06/2026. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
