Can anyone tell me what is the best video editing tool? I currently do all min through my iPhone and I use DJI Lightcut but don’t know if this is the best or the easiest and all so what software could I use on my MacBook Air.

I use iPhone and light cut .i just think they are the easiest and the best tried other ones but too complicated stick to what you know, mate

Give iMovie a try, its free and made by Apple for your Apple.
If your up for a bit of learning YouTube if full of tutorials for DaVinci Resolve - its free ( non studio ver) and very very full featured. Loads of users of it here that can help you along the way too. Works supper well on a M2 Macbook Air

Hi I’m in a similar position to @Djiman61 novice and Apple user . I use YouTube for just about all my learning and find you eventually find a few experts amongst the many but takes time to find them especially if you are starting from zero. Does anybody have any recommendations please as that would save me, and others, some time.

Mac you’ve got a few more options depending on what you want to do:
Basic - iMovie
Intermediate to Advanced features: DaVinci Resolve is free, Final Cut Pro - one off payment, Adobe Premiere Pro - subscription
