Just been out to try and fly at Bestwood Country Park near Nottingham there are quite a few videos on YouTube of different people flying and various videos. I was greeted with no drone signs and member of the public advise me the signs existed . The signs must be new because I’ve flown here in the past with no issues
Exactly that’s my point there are so many videos on YouTube
Check all the access paths/routes … there’s probably one that doesn’t have a sign.

Based on what I have learnt on here and other sites anyone can put a sign up saying no drones but it is meaningless unless supported by a by-law, I would contact the local council and ask to see it or the park management.
Yes they can stop you from taking off and landing on their property but flying over it is down to the CAA who solely control the air-space above, provided it is not a NFZ you should be fine, take off from either a public footpath or bridleway and again they would have problems stopping you.

Is the sign still there? I guess that’s near the winding house, but there are many entrances to the park which have no noticeboards at all.
I’ve checked the county council website who a responsible for the park and there’s nothing about drones at all. I’ve also seen foi requests to both county and city for any bye laws on the use of drones and neither have anything.

heres the irony part…Notttingham city council have a video … right here haha! also tthey have a few drone videos on there channel bit sus though haha
