Betaflight 4.5 motors in test mode wont work after upgrade from 4.43, using the latest configuration so its not that and if I downgrade the firmware all works again.
Just wonder if anyone else has seen this 
Could you provide a little more information such as what Flight Controller you have? What motors? Do you know what Firmware your ESC is running? and did you set up the settings of the Motor correctly?
I didn’t even know there was a 4.5 out yet, I’m probably a little behind though
This is the first i’ve seen or heard of 4.5 so I’ve not personally seen anything about there being issues.
I suggest checking which pins they’re mapped to in the targets you’ve selected.

I went and had a look at the beta flight Git hub page and it seems that there’s a bug that has been filed for certain boards so maybe I’ve got the same problem but I will let take a look at the wiring mapping.
I’ll just revert back to the old firmware for tonight as it seems to work.

When on old version, just see what the output of resource in the CLI is, and keep it, when updated, do it again and compare it. As yith said, should help
