Just an update.
The club field committee have given the green light for this meet to take place, with a few minor details to be ironed out next week. 
They are concerned that the toilet facilities are in poor condition.
This isn’t really a problem, because one can just be booked.
However, a token entry fee will probably be required. Say ÂŁ5 to ÂŁ10 for the weekend depending how many people turn up for it. For the toilet hire, and a little beer money for the club committee.
I was hoping that this event could be free, but considering we get a ton of quiet open space, with lots of beers if you like (I like!), camping if you like, competitions with prizes and maybe a football match (on tv. I can’t run 20 yards now), It will be a cheap weekend (unless your in a hotel troffing curries)
I will be supplying sausages and burgers and buns, but my budget wont cover the cost of a portaloo. And lets not say “I’m just staying the one day, can I get half price?”. We are just talking a few quid here.
Here is a poll to see roughly how many people will attend (so I can judge the entry fee). It’s anonymous and ends next Friday at 10pm.
