Binding new drone to Jumper Lite V2 JP4in1 controller

I own a mobula 7 v2 f4 65mm drone, which i believe runs on FrSky. I have a Jumper Lite V2 JP4in1 controller. I am struggling to find the first time process to bind the controller to the drone.
I have been following this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPqL-nPAvSA
However i am unable to bind my drone. I am not sure why.

It’s at about 3 minutes 45 in. Underneath the “Internal RF Module”, there’s some more sub menus, and it’s in the Receiver submenu. Power up your mob 7, (take blades off first), then press “Bind” on the screen, that should do it as long as you’ve got the other sub menus right and the correct protocol chosen.

There’s qiuite a few protocols for FrySky, have a read of this and find the one you need (or try them all until you find the one you want)

Thanks very much for the helpful reply. How would I know when it’s bound successfully, will there be a beep or change in light sequence? Thanks

Don’t know about your receiver, but normally you get a musical beep.

If it doesn’t bind/work, you’ve probably got the wrong protocol, try another one.

Have a look at the search on FrSky

Youre gonna want to confirm that its definitely running FrSky before you put too much effort into binding this.
FrSky can be one of the most difficult protocols to bind even if you know for sure that its using FrSky as there are so many different variables of firmware etc. If its not running FrSky youll be pissing into the wind trying to bind it.
Do you have a link to where you purchased the Mobula 7? There may be more information for us to go on

It is 100% FrSky, I’ve tried to bind it with no luck on any of the FrSky protocols and sub protocols. When I power on my drone, it doesn’t flash as it is supposed to (according to other videos). I think something is wrong with the software on my drone. Is there anywhere or anyone who offers a setup service?

Have you got a link from where you purchased the drone and transmitter? There are different firmware versions for EU and non-EU and you need to have the same version on both drone and transmitter. If theyre missmatched youll be there until the end of time trying to bind them

Heres a link to HappyModels own video for binding procedure

The link for the drone no longer works and the drone is not up on the website anymore.

I will follow this now and let you know the results

Oh, and another thing I noticed is that when I connected to my fpv goggles previously, I would get a heads up display with the model name, battery charge ect. Now I get nothing, just the image. I will attach pictures for reference

Have you changed any settings in Betaflight? Or reflashed Betaflight?

Not to my knowledge, but it could have been something I’ve done accidently.

In Betaflight configuration tab you should have OSD selected. Heres a setup guide

The first thing I notice that is different in my drone compared to the one in the video, is when I plug my drone into betaflight, it pops up with a message saying “There is no motor output protocol selected”

Ok I’ll give that a try. Thank you
