Birling Gap - Safe to fly, but is it?

Ok here’s the deal once you get to the car park with the Cafe and the toilets, you’re as close as you can to the sea and this place is so remote that there’s nuff all wi-fi reception, so that means, Drone Assist wouldn’t load and I wasn’t able to log my flight nor find out if there was any restrictions, etc. I did check from home before setting off and it said the area is considered SSSI which means a Site of Specific Scientific Interest all to do with rare and endangered wildlife species protection. All I could see was seagulls and a very very wild wind, which without wifi I couldn’t find out the speed but it was wild and that was the reason my flight was so short and very close to the TOAL point I didn’t want to risk losing it in the water. Though I must say the Mini 3 Pro coped very well with only a few brief violent shakes that I was able to edit out.
I am not sure if Birling Gap can be added to the so called safe places to fly, but never the less here’s my little video of it. It’s very pretty down there.

No mobile data either :person_shrugging:

Yeah even with my directional antennas, my wifi drops out after about 30 miles…

It looks lovely, and a great weather day (other than the winds!)
