Bit of advice needed on Bambu Labs A1

Hi everyone,

My daughter is purchasing the Bambu Labs A1 for her husband for Christmas, and is looking at any “must have” accessories that will make the learning curve easier for hubby.

I have had nothing to do with 3D printing, so know zilch, and therefore refer to the experts out there.

Can you suggest any accessories he might need?

She has ordered various reels from Bambu Labs on B lack Friday sales,

Any help very much appreciated. Thanks

Yes a Biqu Frostbite plate, currently on Black Friday with Biqu, but quicker with Amazon, seriously that will save many hours of failed prints, I don’t print without it now
Make sure you get the right size for the A1, if not A1 Mini you need the 257x257

Many thanks for that, just hopped onto Amazon and grabbed it for her, its the standard A1 so gone with the 257 x 257.

Once again, many thanks, will save some growing pain

No worries glad to help

The one thing your need is a way of sealing up your reels of pla or PETG spools after the printing as finished. I use food sealer bags and a battery pump to take the air out. This stops the spool getting moisture inside.

Many places sell them and look on YouTube for the process and links.

Filament dryer for defo if your planning on using TPU, I got one in the Black Friday sale and was a game changer :+1:t3:

Admittedly not the best but definitely does the job, only regret I didn’t buy a double 1🤦🏻‍♂️..
