Bit confused then don’t want to get my collar felt, so I’m guessing ok as long as I stay of the park ![]()
Cross referencing with google earth & drone scene it’s doable without entering the park ( I think ) …
Thanks mate I was actually just looking at that spot on drone scene & was coming back to ask your thoughts kindly so thank you for that, if that’s the only feasible spot that’s fine or would you happen to know a spot where I could get a little closer to the Thames / wharf but from this side,
Many thanks
Not from the heath side down to the Thames however… Last year I TOAL’d along Olympian Way that leads from Greenwich Peninsula down to the Cutty Sark. It was a perfect spot with a perfect line of sight and I captured some good images in front of Cutty Sark itself and across to the Isle of Dogs. You’ll also capture some great shots of the former Naval College along the way.
Perfect & thank you very much for your help,
I did clock that spot earlier & had a walk round it on google earth but being the Mavic 3 & although I have the A2cofc I was trying to work out if I could get the separation distance if there was much public around etc, I’ll head down that way first & have a little stake out to see what’s what, if it’s to much of a risk down there I’ll stick with plan A that you pointed out earlier, once again thank you very much ![]()
A pleasure…Olympian Way can get a lot of foot fall especially on the weekends. However I found that to be the best spot before the bottle neck of the way into Greenwich itself along that stretch of the river. A week day would probably be the best and far less busy.
Goes to show I was totally out of order for TOAL from where I did, bang in the middle of the statue square. My bad. ![]()
An innocent mistake to make. ![]()
