Bothwell Castle in the Clyde Valley

An area I should really photograph more as it’s not far from me, but I do make the effort at least once a year in autumn. So popped down to the Clyde this evening near Bothwell Castle for a quick flight and a few pics.

I was shooting 48MP RAWS on the Mini 3 to see how they campare with my Mavic 2 Pro (trying to decide if I should keep it, the M2P that is). The images from the Mini 3 are really good but I don’t think they are as sharp as the M2P (maybe I should get the new Mavic 3 Classic when it comes out  )

3 separate 48MP images merged in LR (yes, the final file is huge!)

Bothwell Castle - 48MP in portrait mode

The rest of these images are manual HDR’s ranging from 4 images to 8 images, all merged in LR, then tweaked in PS.

Cheers Colin :+1: Yeah it is.

Agreed. I dusted off my M2P the other day, and came to the very same conclusion.

Lovely photos, John, and a stunning location, made even better in Autumn.
