Bothwell Castle

Don’t know why it’s taken me so long to photograph this castle since it’s only 5 mins from my house, but headed down to the opposite bank on the River Clyde yesterday morning to catch the sunrise over the castle.

Cheers Steve :+1: To be honest I don’t know, I tend to jump in my car and head further afield, ignoring what’s local. I’ve even photographed weddings in the castle grounds.

Meant to add, my favourite is the 6th one. I spent ages manoeuvring my m2p to try and avoid lens flare (which was pretty bad in some photos) only to find, when editing this one, that I liked the flare pointing at the castle.

That’s not lens flare, John, that’s the mystic energy field from the celtic twilight that will project Merlin and King Arthur back into this world to wage a mighty battle and defeat Coronavirus…
Just saying…
