Part of the history of Stoke-on-Trent is the iconic bottle oven. There are now only 47 preserved in the city and I have attempted to capture at least half of them so far. I hope you enjoy this video where I have a selection from various locations.

I’ve got a lot of time for a bit of gratuitous industrial dereliction, and a fondness for distinctive industrial shapes; I am a big fan of cooling tower, my favourites being the pink ones at Buildwas. Great to see the inside of one of these amazing structures, a first for me. The misty/smokey shots were quite mesmerising, and I could feel my eyelids getting heavier; not through boredom I assure you!
