Bottom Flash, Winsford, Cheshire - Added to Lakes and Reservoirs in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Small carpark, 10 spaces, at the top of Rilshaw meadows. Which is elevated above the Flash so good VLOS and reception. A fair few geese etc congregate on the shallows.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 28/09/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

There are no parking or take off and landing markers on the map at this location. Could anyone that has flown here or knows the area add some useful markers to the map, please?

Was super disappointed today guys after doing all my checks all my research from Weather flight planning a travel more than 36 miles in the hope I could fly here but I was presented with this

I don’t fly in yellow orange red purple zones it’s not my thing. I just decided to say you know what don’t fly here so I went off to Manchester airport pub where I had a glass of Coke, I was sat quite happily watching planes coming in and out for an hour before I got off, but I felt disappointed because perhaps I could’ve been pre-warned. So I did all the checks at home and then when I arrived at the parking spot that was recommended from this site.
On the edge of Way Green. Doing further checks I was presented with completely red no area.

Let me know would you put your drone up or would you be like me and any yellow orange red purple no areas you would’ve backed off. I sat there for a while and I was watching the low flying aircraft coming into Manchester, which was even more worrying for me so I’ll try again but tomorrow somewhere else maybea bit of an evening drone flight.

Yes it’s perfectly fine to fly here, use the map that as a member is made for you by drone pilots for drone pilots :backhand_index_pointing_down:

You’ll never fly if you only look at colours — even Class D airspace can be red in colour yet Class D doesn’t even apply to drones.

As @SparkyFPV said, use Drone Scene, it’s been developed and maintained by the club members here for the last eight years.
