Brick Lane, London

This is my latest from a couple of weeks back. Headed up to Brick Lane for a bowling session with some work colleagues and arrived early, which gave me some time for this.

Probably not to everyone’s tastes. Trying for a gritty feel to this one and there is no shortage of things I can see wrong with it, filming in an urban setting is certainly much more of a challenge!

Love it. Brought back some wonderful memories. We lived in Chelsea Barracks, and Brick Lane was a Sunday favorite for us.

Sadly a thing of the past now. The once great market is nothing but a couple of stalls left.

It certainly doesn’t have the same atmosphere it used to have, and it’s a battle to move through the mass of deliveroo riders in some places.

Gentrification…The biggest identity stripper ever.
