Bridgewater Place building (The Dalek), Leeds at Sunrise

This is a short fly around the Bridgewater Place building in Leeds as the sun was coming up, I love how the sun reflects of each layer of windows as I fly up. Very impressive building.
This was literally a last minute fly while I was killing time waiting for my train.

Bridgewater Place, nicknamed The Dalek, is an office and residential skyscraper in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was the tallest building in Yorkshire at the time of being topped out in September 2005, but is now the second-tallest after another Leeds building, Altus House. Bridgewater Place is visible at up to 25 miles (40 kilometres) from most areas.

Very impressed of the capabilities of the mini 2 still to this day , I was waiting for you to say mini 3
Looks the nuts just goes to show as I’ve said many a time before , getting in a formula 1 car won’t make you a pro , you obviously know what your doing :ok_hand:t2:

Edit : watched it again

I have a YT channel but there’s nothing on there yet , I no I won’t become top notch anytime soon but seeing the capabilities of what can be done with not always high end equipment ( or the entry level drones ) please no disrespect I only have a mavic air 2 btw , just makes me want to try harder,

I know I need to learn to edit , again that’s not going to happen overnight but we’re videos are concerned tbh I’ve not even tried
When I joined GADC some of the amazing stuff I’ve seen on here made me sort of take the thought I’ll never be able to do that but I need too learn and I’m more than happy to put the time in , weather permitting I’m going to start this week,

I’ve subscribed to light room , photo shop and light room classic yesterday which has a couple of other add ons , so I’m going to give it my best shot , I chose that software only based on the tutorials I’ve been watching over the weeks and the results look good ,
Still amazed of what you pulled off with the mini 2 regardless as to if and what is done in post , again that still takes skill and practice , looks superb , I’ve been on your channel nearly all afternoon :+1:t2:

Yes I have thinking of getting the mini3 but the mini2 is incredible. Ive had it since Jan 2021 and Ive flown 182 miles, 38 hours of flying and never crashed it. Its super reliable and the 4K footage is so crisp.
Oh yes its about practicing flying so you can do smooth flights, editing your footage is so important and the music even more so and tie it all together. I probably will get the mini3 at some point but Im still happy with the mini2 for now.

Excellent video, what is the TOAL for the Dalek? I have yet to fly in Leeds, keep seeing too many red zones.

Great video, love this building and really nice to photograph too :+1:t3:

Thanks. No issues taking off there, I wouldn’t fly it in daylight though as these are peoples apartments and I kept my distance from the building.
