British Sugar Factory, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

I like to think I’m getting a little better at thing whole drone filming thing? Here is my latest effort centred on the surprising photogenic British Sugar factory in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK. All the action, without the stink of stewing sugar beet! I actually spent a few minutes planning this one, using Suncalc to figure out where I needed to film to get the sun behind the stacks in the sunrise opening, and the sunset ending (the best shot is at the end for sure!). And if anyone is interested, I used an ND64 filter for the sunrise, and no filter for the sunset. All filmed in Auto and the normal colour profile. Gave it a little tweak on the saturation and gamma, and all was good (at least to my eyes anyways). Best enjoyed on your lovely big 4K TV! It’s only just over 2 minutes, what else have you got to do?!

Although it has been a few years, I can still smell it today :joy:

Very nicely done. Beautiful footage. You’re braver than me, shooting into that sunrise. Again, nicely done and spot on editing as well.

Thanks - i really like shooting into the sun!

Sweet! :+1:
