Broughton Castle - Added to Castles and Fortifications in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Broughton Castle is a medieval fortified manor house in the village of Broughton which is about two miles south-west of Banbury, Oxfordshire, England on the B4035 roa. It is the home of the Fiennes family, Barons Saye and Sele. The castle sits on an artificial island in pastureland and is surrounded by a wide moat. Across the small bridge lies the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, surrounded by its historic cemetery. A Grade I listed building, it opens to the public over the summer.

Plenty of road parking nearby in the village including on site via the Church (meant to be for church visitors only) or you can park on site as a paying visitor if it's open.

Plenty of surrounding park land to fly, but as the castle is privately owned you probably don't want to be annoying them. Keep a distance, get high and get whatever footage you may want without outstaying your welcome.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 01/09/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
