Budle Hall, Northumberland #mini-4-pro

After several learning flights to build up my confidence, this is my first proper flight with my M4P, have edited with Capcut(need to find something better!!). Opinions please as to what I can do to improve my piloting and camera work.

Hey well done for your first flight. Keep it going!

I have found the best way to keep a video interesting is to capture a number of separate views and angles of the target you want to show. Make use of the available quick shots etc built into the drone too. When you get back home play around with the angles and order of your footage. Often by breaking up a long piece of footage and introducing transitions, text etc you can focus the viewers attention on what you went there to capture. It will also help eliminate any areas where you may have stopped the drone in flight or changed direction suddenly.

I use CapCut myself for editing. The free version has a great standard options and there’s plenty of tutorials online. I’ve also used DaVinci Resolve in the past and the free version is very good too….maybe check that out.

Thanks for that @Bradders101, I’ll keep going and keep shooting

Very good for first flight indeed. I also use Capcut and so far I find it does everything I want. If you want really smooth video I would recommend using waypoints, it is very easy to use and the video footage is so smooth far better than I can do. Im no expert by any means always learning. So yeah keep it up for your first flight I thought it was excellent.
