I posted an image of Budleigh on the 26th May. Although I quite liked the shot, I thought the light was very flat having been taken when the the sun was really high in the sky. The attached images show the difference the so called ‘golden hour’
I think it was worth it! Besides you can get that self-righteous glow about being around before the rest of the lazy buggers are even stirring. I used to love going out with my dad at sparrow-fart delivering milk to campsites. Plenty of wildlife wandering around at that time of day.
As it turned out I quite enjoyed getting up and about early. I know it sounds crazy. I was surprised at how many other sunrise spotters there were about.
