My mum was a clippie on Eastern Scottish buses in the early 60’s ( she was based at the Musselburgh Bus Garage / depot ) :+1::+1:

I think its still there, but East Coast Buses, I have old Lothian Buses tickets somewhere in the house, lol. My friend use to live in the Pans, and we used to go to north berwick on the old smt 124, back then you could use your concession pass on the train aswell. about 23 years ago that was,

Aye, I was raised in the Pans and yes the bus depot is still there in Musselburgh. I was back up there last June. Canny mind whit service my mother worked on regularly. Ran from Edinburgh down to Seton Sands and back. I used to attend the kids Christmas party in the depot canteen every year. Guid times :wink::wink:

I think the seaton sands bus was a 129, i am sure it was mostly a double decker it went via the pans and the 124 went via the pans at the train station.
