Buzzer Issues

Im just fitting my Vifly buzzer and on soldering in the Buzzer- I noticed the pad is damaged. I first thought it was just dirt but no the soldering pad is no use, hence is there another configuration I can use i.e 5v and led ???

The pad on the fc?

Yah :slightly_frowning_face:

I thought they were standalone devices.
The buzzer pad can’t be remapped on an fc as far as I know. The only option is to find the tranny it goes to and solder onto that.

Hmmm not so easy then :man_facepalming:t3:

Some are and just have a USB. Others connect to the FC and act as the buzzer for the quad. They actually charge their battery through the FC.

What about this 4.30 mins in ???

Whats the model of your buzzer?

vifly mini,

I reckon looking at the above I could remap the Buzz - to the led ??

Give it a try. Take a diff first in case something fucks up
I think it cant be done. But I could be wrong

Mate watching the rest of that I think I need a degree in nuclear physics

This guy is good. Fairly easy to follow. Have a read if you have time, it’s where I took the above screenshot from.

What could possibly go wrong? :smirk:

It’s really cool all the remapping stuff but it confuses my tiny brain :brain: :exploding_head: lol

tell me about it

This is my controller

Try soldering the buz - to the transistor here. The third pin

There really tiny mate Im struggling to use the pads.

Just out of interest if I did solder to the LED and the 5V and set the AUX switch so I could flick on and off would that work ???

You could blow up your main processor.
