Is drone registration for the person or the drone as I have now purchased a Dji Phantom 3 Advanced to use as well as my Phantom 3 Standard due to a bit of an accident and need to know if the same registration ID number can be used.

The person… Use the same Operator ID for all your drones.

The operator ID must go on the Drone

The flyer ID is to say you have passed the theory test

My 10yo grandson managed 40/40 for his Flyer test which annoyed me as I only managed 39/40.
