Camas Rainich & Leac Mhór: - A dreich day out by the Scottish coast

This location is out at the end of a peninsula formed by Loch Ewe to the west and Gruinard Bay to the east; Obinan is the name of the nearby settlement. Drive from Laide north on the coastal road until you reach the end of the road, park up, and walk the last few hundred metres to the foreshore. There’s not a lot to see here. I saw a ‘natural arch’ and a ‘sea cave’ on the OS map, but what with the drizzle and greyness failed to locate them. There’s said to be the concrete bases of a WW2 observation post and a couple of huts out here, but nothing like that to be seen at the end of the next peninsula to the west, the subject of a future video.

For the curious, Camas Reinich is the name of the stretch of water most of the flying is over, and Leac Mhór is the finger-like reef seen at the end.
