Cambusnethan Priory - Added to Historic Buildings in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

There's a car park on Castlehill Road. Unless you have a 4x4, I'd park there and walk down to the Priory… I tried to drive down in a Yaris and got stuck in one of the potholes!

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 13/02/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Hi Joe. Is this a quite spot?

Was when I was there, yes. It’s about a mile down a track with one other building (a farm, I think) a bit beyond. I passed one dog walker on my way, otherwise just me.

@Drumsagard was there a couple of days ago too. Many folk about, John?

No, just one other guy Joe. He was from the Friends of Cambusnethan Priory, who look after the place - Redirecting... The previous time I was there midweek, there was no-one about, but can get busy at weekends apparently.

I’ve flown here too @JoeC

Took a wee trip out here today.
Looks a lot more overgrown than it did in the video at the start of this thread
