Can I remove the Mini 2 altitude limit?

Didn’t realise there is a limit of 500m ato. Is there any way around this for jurisdictions where it’s allowed?

Pretty sure this can, not 100% though.

not really as theres no need to go higher than 120m as thats the legal hight

In this country yes. Elsewhere not so :+1:t2:

Drone hacks will remove the 500m height restriction

Thank you for clarifying :+1:t2:

oh yh in this country haha, and others well cant say what they can go too lol

Above the land. But the land isn’t always flat.

If the land around you goes up 100m above take-off (cliffs) you can legally go 220m above take off.

Bet he was standing next to a tall cliff. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, you can apply to DJI for a custom unlock code. Details on their flysafe/geo site: https://www.dji.com/uk/flysafe/custom-unlock

Is there anywhere in the world that doesn’t have an altitude limit?

A list of limits would be good for holiday planning. :+1:

Must have been windy that high up and all that moisture in the clouds.

Slower drones (MP) than the FPV have exceeded that height by quite a bit.

I think my concern would be will the battery last until the drone comes back down! :joy:

Did you read my post?

Thanks, perfect answer. Didn’t realise it was a locking thing.

Turn off the motors and let it free fall. Arm them again after a few seconds :+1:t3:

My concern would be seeing the thing above 60m!

It’s quite easy with strobes or in open spaces.
