I moved to Oxfordshire a few months back and it’s been love at first sight! I’m a new drone enthusiast, with an entry-level DJI.

I’d love to begin a mini project capturing the natural beauty of Oxfordshire over different seasons. I’d love to capture footage of all the interesting landmarks, parks, churches, streams, horse farms etc. But doing this alone is boring. :slight_smile:

I’d love to meet with other drone pilots around Didcot (where I live) and fly drones together.
I’ve suggested a time and place, but I’m quite flexible if someone is interested!

Well, you’ve suggested Didcot on the 21st December. There’s no “time” and whereabouts in Didcot ? ( you have to be exact about “times and places” :wink::wink::wink:

Regarding the meetup, I put in Mowbray Fields as the location but it doesn’t show up in my post.
In any case, I’m flexible on the location and time. If some people show interest we can finalize this!

I am based in London on weekdays and Didcot on weekends. I tried taking my drone to Hyde Park once but quickly realized it won’t take off lol. That’s why I proposed Didcot/Oxfordshire since it’s a lot less restricted!

We have just a little over a week to this meetup.
Is the plan still going ahead?
What time are we meeting?
Where is the meetup point on the field?

The weather forecast for tomorrow is not looking nice. The chance of rain is above 50% almost throughout the day. I think we have to move this to another time next year.

@DeanoG60 Yes, It’s a no-go due to the weather. It can be marked as cancelled if the original author has no exception to it.
