Capacitors for a 6s

Building a 6s drone using mk5 frame and speedybee f7 50 amp fc stack and in the speedybee kit is an 1300uf 35v capacitor which will cause probs as it has a 13mm diameter and i need a lower profile to fit the vista… preferably a 10mm diameter capacitor would fit the job nicely as on my rtf prebuilt mk5 . Can i use a 470uf -35v instead of a 1000-1300uf. ?

Yeah, but best to use a 50v with 6s

Tho the 6s battery is putting out 22.2 v ?.. Do you think the margin is not adequate maybe… im not all that clued up on electronics tho i built a few drones so would be good to see some kind of chart that could help with this kind of stuff… i read that 35v would be well adequate but wasnt sure on the capacitor ‘uf’ size. Thanx for replying btw i appreciate it.

A wise fellow said to me a cap should be double the voltage. There are big spikes sometimes. I’ve ran 35v ok on 6s though. But now use 50v 330uf

Ahh well probably sound advice then… well ill have a look around but i just need to get the cap diameter at 10 mm but ill perservere.

Would u credit it… after typing in the size u mentioned (
5 X Panasonic Low ESR 330uf 50V- 10mm ) i found them on Amazon even tho i browsed there for 15 mins earlier an never seen em… so you helped me a lot there thankyou. So im thinking the UF isnt as important as the voltage maybe.

Oh and u sent a link too thx… hah.

Its hard to work out. Depends on charge and discharge rates, resistances etc. Not an expert myself either. A few hundred uf is fine.
