The idea is genius and the Aussies got there first. Apparently the expensive russian S400 air defence system that recently blew up in Crimea… was taken out by this! Add to that the taking out of a Tupolev bomber at Soltsy t’other day and I’d say these thongs are a steal at 1800 quid a pop. Or should I say bang?

Good value in the sense the destroyed missile system is valued at $200 million and cost the Ukrainians only 1800 quid to take it out.
It has a 6’ wingspan and, seeimgly, a low radar profile… other than that I’m not really answering your question- sorry!
That can carry up to 3kg with a range of up to 120km. Compared to miltary alternatives Rich, it’s peanuts.

I stumbled across a clickbait link for cardboard drones which may being supplied to Ukraine.
I thought they were quite interesting especially for fixed wing flyers, and knowing that some of you guys are quite ingenious
