A quick flight today at Carn Grey Quarry & Rock at Trethurgy on the outskirts of St Austell. This is the first clip I’ve made using the smaller, lighter Mavic Mini 2 while I’m waiting for repairs to be completed on my main Air 2, so the footage is a bit more shaky as it doesn’t cope so well in the wind. Hope you enjoy !
It’s good, but if that was me I would fly from those white rocks. Why? Well you say it was a bit windy so up there I would get a better feel for what the wind was doing. Secondly, I would be less likely to lose signal than if I was down by the water and sheltered, and if I did have a fly away then I could see where the drone went. Prevention better than cure.
Beautiful county as are most down the south east.
