Central London shots from the south

Some choice snaps now that I’ve gotten home and could see them proplerly instead of just the panoramic from earlier.

There’s been a bit of cropping and colour adjustment going on. Most have come from the 3X camera, but at least one wide from the standard wide angle as well.

Nice shots. Where did you take off from?

Kennington Park. From what info I can gather, it is both outside EGR157 and inside of Lambeth which doesn’t appear to have anything in it’s bylaws prohibiting drone use. As long as you don’t fly West or far North there should be zero issues. I just went straight up and let the lens do the rest.

the building with 3 holes and props elephant and castle area. Not moving was installed by briggs and fodters
costing millions.
when they commissioned,They found they were two noisey and vibrationary and have never worked since.

Yep, Strata SE1.

I believe it was one of the conditions of how they got permission to build it, in that the three wind turbines would have provided a significant portion of the energy needed for the building to run. And then once they go the money to do the job they were all “Nah, we’re not going to fix it.”

Yes I agree with you and its a shame.Because the energy from the turbines would have saved the tenants a reasonable amount of money.
