Cessford Castle

Better video than I did - hence I never uploaded it. Might be related to me misjudging the height of the large tree whilst setting my Mini on an orbit, and having a slightly collision. And guess who forgot to bring spare blades on the long walk up there (we were staying by the main road down the hill)?

Don’t be harsh on yourself. There are no quality criteria for posting your photos/videos on here.

You’ll find that (99.9% of ) people only give constructive/supportive/helpful comments.

Well, it started nicely enough - but nobody needs to see tumbling through leaves and branches and a closeup of grass and sheep droppings

Sadly by the time I’d got back to the cottage and replaced the blades the weather had turned wet and windy, so I never walked back up to the castle to try again.

Ah - OK - THAT aspect of not good enough. Fair dos!

Thank you. :folded_hands: Oh dear that was unfortunate. I suppose your only saving grace was that it did not break one of the arms of the drone, only the blades.

So annoyed having walked all the way up there and I just had the drone in my jacket pocket rather than its normal case. In the case I have screwdriver and spare parts.
However I did add Cessford Castle to the database, as I thought it was worth adding for anyone else in the area to visit. And now I know that it is possible to park a car nearby too.

I too would have been annoyed. If you do go may I suggest you reverse along to the gate from the junction, that way when you leave your not reversing out onto the road.
