Haven’t been doing anything for ages.
Dad was in for a simple op and spent 2 months ‘inside’.
Anyway, my question. At the end of August I killed my little Mini 2 friend. Flew into a tree, not recommended, had been filming my Daughter’s Wedding. Fortunately, i had flown during the day and got the footage I wanted.
I swapped the SD card and wanted a little nighttime footage.
Silly mistake, I was tired, flew a track I had been flying earlier but was a few feet lower. Anyway, tree + Mini2 = disaster.
I now have a virtually new Mini2, don’t tell the missus, but it was registered using her email address. There seem to be conflicting reports about swapping her email address too mine. Only want to go preserve Airdata really. Any advise on swapping address?
One other question, I am being lazy, but time is short as still helping Mum and Dad.
My S21 won’t run the fly app for some reason. I’m generally using litchi (on the S10) but the fly app is helpful for registering the drones etc. Is the latest version of fly app reliable?
Got a chance to fly on Saturday, in a new people heavy location so hoping to register the ‘new’ drone for then.
Sorry, for being a lazy git!
Thanks, that’s really useful. I tried reinstalling but the later Android versions seem to be the problem.
Might have to install fly on the S21 and still use the S10 with litchi.
Ouch. I feel your pain. A few days later, I had ‘shipping container + mini 2’.
Not good news, as far as I am aware, DJI still have no ability to (a) change email addresses or (b) transfer assets. See here.
There are lots of reports of DJI Fly app not working on S21 and Android 12. Some users have even downgraded to Android 11 using Odin to get round this. See here.
Thanks mate. Not too concerned about the reliability of Fly app with S21 as I use the S10 but it would have been nice.
Still got the S5e (tablet) if the S10 screen is too small.
The app says the drone is bound to Missus’ email but that’s no issue.
As long as the data goes to my account for flights etc.
And just out of interest, tupperware or cheap copy?
You can sync multiple DJI accounts in Airdata I believe. I haven’t tried it, as I only have the one DJI account. Try adding your Mrs’ account in there, and then hit sync …
