I only manged to get 5 mins last night in my garden (Dad taxi job got in the way). I turned up to work 20 mins early today, so flew for 15 minutes in our car park. The wind speed is 0, so took Ned ‘Neo 2’ up to 120 meters, then recorded a video looking around the horizon, then flew over our buildings a little to look at the solar panels. Then came right down to 2 meters of the floor, then flew over to where I was sitting on the boot of my car. Landed, then went inside to work.
I’m going out again at lunch for 20-30 minutes to get more practice time. Oh boy, it was so much fun! The colour balance and image quality is astounding on the drone. The video quality is a little jerky, then too slow, but it was the first one ever done, so wasn’t going to be good.
