I bought some Lava 3s 550mah 75c batteries for my new copter. Also grabbed a more convenient charger for on the go.
I plugged a brand new battery into the charger which said it was already full (green light). This made me suspicious, so i connected my old iMax B6 charger which shows it’s no where near full for a LiPO, never mind a LiHV.
My multimeter also agreed with the B6. Anyone else got one of these? Looks like a defective unit to me.
The B6 IS correct, it’s the new U3 below that showed green immediately after connecting a new battery.
Ooops………
ToolkitRC chargers don’t have the best reputation. I’ve had one of their more complex models and had issues eventually… it was OK for quite a while.
I now use a Hota charger and it’s a lot better.
I suggest contacting whoever you bought it from for help.
Got it from HobbyRC. Asked if they would swap it out for a B6 Neo (me paying the difference).
