Checking flight hours and battery cycles on a DJI Mini 3 Pro

I am going to look at a used mini 3 pro tomorrow, which the current owner says has been flown for a certain number of hours and certain number of battery cycles.

Is there any way I can check this when I check out the drone?

Get them to show you in the app.

If you do buy it make sure they unbind it from their account at the same time

if you turn on the controller (or start Fly app on phone) and go into profile you can see the statistics - hours, distance, no of flights. This is quick and easy.

To see battery cycles is more effort. You have to turn on the drone and let it connect to the RC, then press the 3 dots on the top right and go to the Safety tab, scroll down until you see Battery Info, press on that.
You will see the battery cycle count on that screen. If there are multiple batteries you need to turn off the drone, change the battery and then repeat for each battery,

milkmanchris,
didn’t know about this, so thanks very much.

notascooby,
thanks for that, doesn’t sound too complicated.

There’s no way that could have “reset” the data is there?

I know I’m (probably) being too nervous.

@Deltech I am not aware of anything like that. I am pretty sure the stats shown on the controller and the battery cycles will be genuine. The most important thing if you choose to purchase the drone is, as @milkmanchris stated above, to ensure that the seller unbinds it from their account at the time of sale. Hope it goes well.

UPDATE:~

bought it, 152 days old with 1h 48mins flight time, UN-bound.

Currently on a full charge.

Haven’t flown it yet, so fingers crossed I don’t crash it.

Thanks to all for info.

Nice. Enjoy it. Don’t forget to watch out when in Sport mode or flying sideways as trees have a habit of jumping out in front of the drone :deciduous_tree:
