Christmas Lights aerial shot

A couple of houses in Okehampton here team up with Christmas lights for charitable causes.

I was asked to take an aerial photo or two with my Mini 2. You don’t necessarily need to be too high. This was a great viewpoint about 60ft up!

Getting the right exposure is a little tricky at night… underexpose a little in raw, then in Lightroom bring it all back again with a combination of highlights, shadows, exposure, curves and saturation. And a little noise reduction.

Great shot! That is some Christmas light display :star_struck::star_struck:

Was surprised to see this image appeared in the Okehampton Times newspaper… with my photo watermark, even though I gave the chap the un-watermarked images too. Shame it’s too small to make out though!
